Teaching the basics of making a fire. Different lighting options such as fire steel, steel wool or batteries. Teaching an understanding of when a substance burns and how to operate a fire correctly and safely
Practical part
A fire pit is built together Explanation of how it works and the purpose of the specific construction method. Build and light your own fire pit in pairs. Roast your own marshmallows, stick bread or grill sausages over your own fire
